Horror is a genre I adore, and HORNS is a great example of just what the genre can excel at - twists, turns, flawed characters, and desperately-need-to-find-out-what-happens-next writing. It’s a favourite of mine, and as such, I wanted to put my own design spin on its cover. This cover was born not only out of a love for the book itself, but out of a longing to become a book cover designer. This was one of my first forays into the medium, and it was most educational - figuring out the text hierarchy, how to balance type with graphics, where to place each element for maximum effect, etc.
