Hello! I’m John Deehan a.k.a Dooks - a Graphic Designer and Illustrator from the North East of England. I specialise in characterful illustrations, bold designs and expressive typography.

I studied at Northumbria University where he achieved a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design for his Final Major Project; a 200+ page reimagining of the forgotten children’s book ‘Rebecca’s World’ by Terry Nation.

I live in Newcastle upon Tyne and spend most of my time designing, illustrating, reading books, feeding my goldfish and listening to new-wave alternate funk music from the 1980s.
