Halloween is my favourite time of year - the dark nights, costumes, jack-o’-lanterns, spookiness in the air; it’s such a delight and an endless source of creative inspiration for me. Here’s a piece I made to celebrate the holiday: an illustration that encapsulates the feeling which makes All Hallow’s Eve such a fun and frightening hoot. I created this with a mix of hand-drawn inks and digital colours, trying to make the shading feel more natural and messy. This might just be one of my favourite pieces I have ever made.
